Our Mission
Our mission is to teach swimming in an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and confident, regardless of their age or experience.
About the founder and head coach:
✅ Multiple-time champion and record holder of the Republic of Belarus.
✅ World Championship finalist.
✅ I have over 20 years of coaching experience.
✅ I worked with the Belarusian National Swimming Team.
✅ I trained European medalists, World Championship participants, and Olympians.
✅ I also contributed to the training of Igor Boki, a 21-time Paralympic champion.

Selection Criteria for Team and Pre-team at Kosatka Swimming Academy
- Ability to swim 100 yards freestyle with flip turns.
- Ability to swim 100 yards backstroke with flip turns.
- Ability to swim at least 25 yards butterfly and 25 yards breaststroke.
- Proficiency in starting dives from the starting block.
- Ability to swim 25 yards freestyle and 25 yards backstroke with proper technique.
- Number of lessons: 4–6 times per week.
- 400 yards freestyle:
- Boys — 6 minutes.
- Girls — 6 minutes 20 seconds.
- 200 Individual Medley (IM):
- Boys — 3 minutes.
- Girls — 3 minutes 15 seconds.
- Ability to swim at least 200 yards freestyle and 200 yards backstroke with flip turns.
- Ability to swim 50 yards butterfly and 50 yards breaststroke.
- Number of lessons: 6–8 times per week.
- 200 yards freestyle:
- Boys — 2 minutes 30 seconds.
- Girls — 2 minutes 45 seconds.
- 100 yards freestyle:
- Boys — 1 minute.
- Girls — 1 minute 7 seconds.
- Ability to swim 400 yards freestyle:
- Boys — 6 minutes.
- Girls — 6 minutes 20 seconds.
- Ability to swim 200 yards Individual Medley (IM):
- Boys — 3 minutes.
- Girls — 3 minutes 15 seconds.
- Number of lessons: 9–10 times per week.
The head coach reserves the right to admit a child to the appropriate team or pre-team, even if they fall slightly short of the qualification standards. This decision is based on the child’s demonstrated determination, resilience, and dedication to achieving their goals through hard work and perseverance.
